Welcome to the Grand Falls Police Force's online application system for police information checks. This system allows you to apply for a police information check 24 hours a day without having to attend our facility. All aspects of the process - including verification of your identification, fee payment and completed police record check results certificate - are handled electronically. If there are no concerns or follow-up required, you will receive an email with instructions on how to securely download your police record check certificate.
You cannot apply on behalf of another person.
Authentication questions are based on your personal credit file. If automated identity verification fails, you must upload:
A photo of yourself holding your identification
A clear photo of your identification documents
These steps protect your privacy and ensure secure processing.
Vulnerable Sector queries are STRICTLY for applicants residing in Grand Falls and the Village of Drummond, New Brunswick.
IMPORTANT: If you don’t choose the right application, your request will be rejected, and you will have to re-apply for the right one with no reimbursement.
Youth are only able to complete a regular CRC. Youth aged 14-17 are not eligible for a Vulnerable Sector Search as they will never appear on the Pardoned Sex Offender database and that portion of their police check will always be clear. We do review any criminal history or a pattern of relevant behavior that would present a potential risk to the safety of the public by searching the federal, provincial, and local databases and disclose any necessary concerns on their result letter.
Persons requiring records checks for the purposes of Adoption or Non-Parental Custody (through court order) cannot use this online screening process. You must attend the Grand Falls Police Force in person to make application. The Grand Falls Police Force is located at 131 Pleasant Street, Grand Falls, NB. If this is the reason for your police check, you must attend our office between 8:30am and 4:30pm on Monday through Friday. The office is closed on civic and statutory holidays.
A police record check is current as of the date it is completed. It is your employer/prospective employer or organization's function to determine if the record check is current enough to be accepted for the position applied for. The Grand Falls Police Force, its officers, agents and employees, shall have no responsibility or obligation to make such a determination.
Non-Refundable Fee All online checks require an additional $9.95 processing / authentication fee + applicable taxes
