Welcome to the Delta Police Departments online Police Information Check (PIC) application process. This system allows you to apply for a police information check 24 hours a day without having to attend our offices.
Police Information Check fees are non-refundable.
You must live in Delta in order to apply. Making a false statement - such as a non-resident declaring a local address at which they do not currently reside - will result in the discontinuation of application processing and the forfeiture of all monies paid.
Your PIC RESULTS MUST BE STAYING IN CANADA: Police Information Checks are intended for persons living and working/volunteering in Canada.
If you are currently living/working outside Canada, you are asked to seek the assistance of the nearest Canadian Embassy or Consulate in your vicinity. If you cannot access the Canadian Embassy or Consulate, you may seek assistance from Canadian Foreign Affairs by calling 1-800-267-8376 or accessing their web site at international.gc.ca. You may also obtain a police check from the RCMP through the submission of fingerprints. Click here for further details.
If you require a criminal record check where the results will be going outside of Canada, but you are currently residing in Delta, please click here.
You cannot apply on behalf of another person. Authentication questions will be based on the applicant’s personal credit file and questions are timed to enhance security and privacy.
* Incomplete applications (i.e. no identification provided, authentication aborted/ not completed or further information requested) and applications requiring in-person attendance will remain in the processing queue for no more than thirty (30) days from the time of initial application. Incomplete applications will be considered 'abandoned', and removed from the processing queue after thirty (30) days. Fees are non-refundable.
