An additional fee of $71.40 may be charged for taking your fingerprints by the Windsor Police Service. Additionally, the RCMP will also charge a $25 admin fee, but will waive this $25 fee if the purpose of the VS check is for a volunteer position.
To qualify for the RCMP waiver, the applicant must produce a hard (paper) copy of the letter from the agency on agency letterhead that clearly identifies that the check is required for a volunteer purpose, and it must contain your name and the position that you are volunteering for. This letter must be presented at the time of fingerprinting. If the letter is not presented at the time of fingerprinting, you will be charged the RCMP processing fee. |
