- This is a non-refundable process.
- Please be advised that if you are applying for a CRJMC that you do not need to apply for the CRC for the same position. These checks include the CRC.
- Incomplete applications will be 'abandoned' and removed from the processing queue after ninety (90) days.
- Ensure you check your junk mail for communication.
- Results are delivered back electronically and will be available for 31 days. The Barrie Police Service will notify only the applicant and provide instructions to securely download.
- After 31 days, the download is no longer available and you will need to attend the Barrie Police Service Records and Information Management Service to purchase a hard copy for a fee.
There are two levels of record checks available. The type of position you are applying for will determine which type of check you will require. In all cases you should consult with the agency, organization or employer that requires you to obtain a record check to determine which one is needed:

* Vulnerable Sector Checks CANNOT be performed on this site.
VS Applies to individuals that intend to work and/or volunteer with Vulnerable Person(s).
VS checks must be conducted by the police service where you live. If you are a resident of Barrie,
please visit the resident profile here.
If you are not a resident of Barrie, you are unable to receive a VS check from the Barrie Police Service. Contact your local police service.
